I took this photo a couple of weeks ago. I originally took it to celebrate my being 5 months binge and purge free. The funny thing is, is that I couldn’t make myself post it. Simply because I thought I looked awful. In my eyes I’ve made no progress. I’ve lost weight, I’ve survived, I’ve made progress. I should be proud, but the monster inside my head doesn’t let me forget that I shouldn’t like my body. I should. I should love myself. Just know it takes time. It takes so much time. I’m still fighting, constantly everyday. I know it’s worth it, I promise.
